Alexander Chee is a Korean-American writer and editor whose work explores themes of identity, trauma, and memory. He is the author of two novels, Edinburgh and The Queen of the Night, and the essay collection How to Write an Autobiographical Novel. He has written for The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic, Guernica, and other publications.
