Anita Hill

Anita Hill is an American lawyer and academic who is best known for her testimony during the 1991 confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Hill's testimony brought attention to the issue of sexual harassment in the workplace, leading to the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1991. She currently serves as a professor of social policy, law, and women's studies at Brandeis University.
