Conrad Richter

Conrad Richter (1890-1968) was an American novelist who wrote novels about the American frontier, such as The Light in the Forest and The Town. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1953 for The Town and was also a recipient of the National Book Award. Richter's works often focused on the struggles of early settlers and Native Americans in the 19th century.
