James Luceno is an American author of science fiction and fantasy novels, best known for his Star Wars novels. He is also the author of the New York Times best-selling novel Darth Plagueis and the novelization of the film Solo: A Star Wars Story. Luceno has written numerous other Star Wars novels, including the Dark Lord Trilogy and the New Jedi Order series.
