Jung Yun is a Korean-American writer and teacher. She is the author of the novel Shelter, which was named a Best Book of 2016 by the Washington Post and a Notable Book of 2016 by the American Library Association. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Granta, and other publications. She is a recipient of fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
