Lauren Belfer is an American author of historical fiction. She is best known for her novel City of Light, which was a New York Times bestseller. Her other works include A Fierce Radiance, which was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award, and And After the Fire, which was a finalist for the National Book Award.
