Linda Castillo is an American author of suspense novels. She is best known for her New York Times bestselling series featuring Chief of Police Kate Burkholder. She has also written stand-alone novels and several series for young adults. Castillo is a recipient of the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense.
