Makoto Yukimura is a Japanese manga artist and cover designer. He is best known for his work on Vinland Saga, which won the Grand Prize at the Japan Media Arts Festival in 2005. His other works include Planetes, Ohoku, and Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken. He is also a character designer for the anime series Fire Emblem.
