Richard Evans is an American historian and author. He is best known for his three-volume history of Nazi Germany, The Third Reich Trilogy, which has been widely acclaimed for its meticulous research and vivid narrative. He has also written several other books on European history, including The Coming of the Third Reich and The Third Reich at War.
