Tamsyn Muir is a British-born New Zealand author of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. She is best known for her Gideon the Ninth series, a queer science fantasy that has been described as "Lesbian Necromancers in Space." Her works have been nominated for a number of awards, including the Nebula, World Fantasy, and Hugo Awards.
