Yuriko Nishiyama

Yuriko Nishiyama is a Japanese manga artist known primarily for her sports-themed mangas. Born on July 25, 1968, she made her professional debut in 1988 in an issue of "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" with the short story "Radical Teikyuudan". She is best recognized for her work on the manga series "H2," which, despite the shared name, is a separate work from the similarly sports-themed manga "H2" by Mitsuru Adachi. Yuriko Nishiyama's "H2" revolves around the sport of handball and is notable for its dynamic depiction of the game as well as its engaging character development. Her other works have also earned her a dedicated fanbase and contribute to her standing as an accomplished manga artist in the sports genre.
