The story follows Kahlen, a young woman safe from drowning by the ocean, who becomes a siren. I mean motor being fun to serve the ocean by luring humans to their watery death with the her boys, but cheese later to any human who hears it. Kalen has served for decades, silently observing the world she can never be part of.
