This book is in French language, easily readable with the Google translate app. It has 172 pages and consists mostly of chess problems (positions unlikely to occur in a real game, which the reader is to solve) and a 15 page section on chess studies (these contain positions which could occur in a real game). The notation is French algebraic. The book is in overall excellent condition apart from two small coin like areas where the front cover has been abraded. Please see the photographs. Therefore I have downgraded the condition to good. The pages are tanned due to the quality of paper used. This book is very rare. I could not find any copies from a North American seller. The lowest price I could find at all was from a French seller for $45, not including shipping and the new tariffs. Original price was 15,90 Francs in 1971. Buy my copy and save!
