This book contains the six games of the rapid chess match between Kasparov and Short in 1987. It is one of Keene’s better efforts. Illustrated with many photos and a diagram after every half move. The games were quite interesting, with Kasparov playing the Sicilian defense in every game, and Short defending with the Dutch defense, Chigorin’s defense and the Old Indian to Gary’s 1. d4. 96 large format pages. This book has now become uncommon.
