This is the 1943 Rotapfel pressing printed for Collet’s Holdings, Bookshops, LTD. It is a rare folio of 16 lithographs from the renown Swiss painter and graphic artist, Niklaus Stöcklin - who was an exponent of New Objectivity and Magic Realism. All 16 lithographs are present with no rips or tears. This copy has some shelf wear and slight browning on the edge of the pages. It also has some light scratches on both sides of the cover. The spine is still in good condition, and there is only one annotation on the opening page that says “20.”.
